We have rats as they are fun and entertaining animals.
They can do a lot of things.

and despite their reputation, they make a great pet.

Our rats are first and foremost pets. We see qualities in them, which we would breed to enhance. But if they give us more worries, frustrations and sorrow than happiness, play and fun, then why should we put other people in the same position?

Yes, we are breeders - and that alone may be questioned:

• Do we breed for temper? YES!
• Do we breed for health? Yes!
• Do we breed for colors? yes!

• Can temper, health and color always go hand in hand?? No!
• Would we hide secrets to ensure a better sale of the pups? NO!

We tell about the good things, but also points at the bad. Then you may do as you please: Turn around and walk away - or you can pick your choice with known risk.

Why?

Because we have no right to decide the choice or desire of other people's wishes, but we have a right to take a stand:

It is not the question of selecting a great rat, but to deselect a weak rat.
